The Southern Recycling Centre (SRC) plays a key role in the diversion of waste from landfill. Municipal Solid Waste from the kerbside rubbish bin is processed to extract organic material from the waste stream which is then pasturised, screened and used as part of landfill capping. This ensures maximum diversion of organic material from landfill. 

We only accept waste direct to the SRC processing facility from pre-approved commercial and public sector customers that operate trucks fitted with the required safety equipment.
