Southern Region Waste Resource Authority
The Southern Region Waste Resource Authority (SRWRA) is a regional subsidiary established by the Cities of Onkaparinga, Marion and Holdfast Bay, pursuant to Section 43 of the Local Government Act, 1999. Under our Charter, SRWRA is responsible for providing and operating waste management services on behalf of our constituent Councils.
Our core business is the management of our recycling facilities and landfill. We partner with industry experts and pride ourselves in employing innovative resource recovery approaches to support the circular economy.
We operate the Southern Recycling Centre in Joint Venture with Integrated Waste Services (IWS) and the Southern Materials Recovery Facility in Joint Venture with Re.Cycle (Adelaide), a subsidiary of Re.Group.
