Growing the sustainability leaders of tomorrow in Southern Adelaide

Since 2010, the Southern Region Waste Resource Authority (SRWRA) has been inspiring environmental action in classrooms across Southern Adelaide through our Les Perry Grant program.

With every grant, we're helping schools at a primary and preschool level turn their big ideas on sustainability, recycling, and waste minimisation into exciting, hands-on projects.

Grants of up to $1,200 are available for projects that put an innovative spin on reducing, reusing, recycling, and composting, and get your students learning about the world around them.

So, ready to get elbow deep in a worm farm or sink your teeth into a ‘nude food’ day?

Our Impact

Who was Les Perry?

The Les Perry Grant was established to honour the dedication and commitment to sustainability of SRWRA’s Executive Officer from 1999-2007. Les’s tireless efforts in leading SRWRA for the benefit of Adelaide’s southern communities had a lasting impact on the South Australian waste management industry that continues today.

About SRWRA
