SRWRA recognises the important role of education in improving the rate of resource recovery in Australia, and we are dedicated to working with our constituent councils to help raise awareness and increase understanding of positive waste management practices and recycling.

SRWRA also supports projects and activities that contribute to the education of primary school students in the area of waste minimisation and recycling through our annual Les Perry Grant Program. You can learn more about the Program here.
